ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Avanti P. Vadivelu, Founder
I'm Avanti Pradhan Vadivelu and after graduating from the renowned School of Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia and gaining my Masters of Arts in Public Communication from the American University in Washington, DC, I went on to work at all ends of the journalism spectrum, including as a television reporter/anchor/presenter, documentary/long format researcher/producer, public relations manager, blogger, freelance writer/editor, social media manager, fiction writer, and more.

My experience - both as a journalist and parent, mixed with today's current media climate, has increased my passion to put out into the world honest and diverse written works. My desire is to provide a platform for which writers of all kinds whose goal is to envoke kindness can broadcast their words without the pains of corporate or political hoops.

In addition to spreading kindness my hobbies include volunteering for my kids' (many!) activities, letting loose with my friends, and sharing laughs with my family. I also adore gritty novels, historial fiction films and training my dog, Lola (ok, not really, but she's sweet.)

As an experienced editor and public relations manager, I feel confident that I can help you produce the best manuscript possible and will work tirelessly to ensure that your words gain the attention and exposure they deserve.

In addition, I love speaking to small and large groups, particularly students, about how to put thoughts and dreams into action and/or words. My past role as an adjunct Public Speaking professor has also given me the knowledge, experience, and skills to hold public speaking tutorials and media coaching. This may come in handy when it comes time for you to make media interviews in order to promote your written works!

I also help book special public appearances, seminars and talks for my authors and/or potential authors.

I absolutely love what I do, and I can't wait to work with you in order to help make our part of the world just a little bit brighter.
